Expertly crafted, this antique German bisque porcelain inkwell by Ernst Bohne Sonhe features eight intricately detailed Barn Owls. The branches are sculpted to hold pens. Made in the late 19th century, it's a rare find with a blue anchor and EB mark to the base. Apart from staining to the porcelain inkwells, it is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. It is a beautiful piece. The painted detailing to the owls is wonderful. A desirable piece for collectors and admirers of fine porcelain.
